Telling Stories, One Tattoo at a Time.

Hey there! I'm Wish, owner of Unwell Artistry. For the past three years, after completing my apprenticeship, I've been pouring my heart into the world of tattooing. My style is pretty diverse, ranging from painterly concepts and abstract watercolor to vibrant color realism.

Before I ever picked up a tattoo machine, my art journey started with a love for graffiti and watercolor painting. Those early passions really shaped how I approach my work today. For me, tattooing is so much more than just putting ink on skin; it's a way to tell stories, to express feelings, and even to find healing. I truly believe art can be a powerful tool to cope with pain, and I often find tattooing itself to be a meditative and spiritual experience.

Every tattoo, big or small, is incredibly important to me, and I take immense pride in each piece I create. My clients are at the heart of everything I do, and it's a privilege to bring their visions to life. I'm deeply grateful to everyone whose journey leads them to my chair, trusting me to transform their ideas into lasting art. Thank you for considering me to be a part of your story.

I'm Keely, a tattoo artist based out of Lafayette Indiana. From a young age I always loved creating, whether it was woodworking, pottery, drawing, or other hands on art forms. That lifelong passion eventually led me into tattooing. With a deep appreciation for storytelling thru art I am especially inspired by the beauty and symbolism found in nature. Alongside tattooing, I work as a social worker specializing in mental health and family relationships, which has shaped my trauma informed approach with clients. I strive to create a welcoming, safe and collaborative environment where each tattoo can be a meaningful and empowering experience. I specialize in black and grey and color illustrative work, fine line, and traditional styles. I particularly love creating bookish themed designs. Whether its a character, a magical scene, or a piece inspired by your favorite story, I enjoy helping bring tattoo dreams to life in a way that reflects each persons unique experience.
